Agenda: October 11 - 24 / feat. fujii+fushikino

Please note: This time the agenda covers two weeks.

This week's feature:
fujii+fushikino at Gallery PARC, Kyoto
As a part of the exhibition "Mosurin no Mori"
Muslin (or mousseline), a soft touching fabric woven from wool, brought together textile artist Fujii and fashion designer Fushikino. Since 2008 they create as fujii+fushikino simply cut clothes, uniquely dyed -- by leaving the final outcome to the unpredictable, entrusting it to material, colour and nature.

fujii+fushikino are not the only ones with a passion for muslin. The exhibition "Mosurin no Mori" aims to promote the quality fabric, beaten out of the market by synthetic fibers, and presents muslin of vivid patterns in bright colours by various textile artists.

Foreigner’s Live Art Guide
For more exhibitions and events about art and design in Osaka rely on FLAG.

On the Agenda are events in Kyoto - and also in Osaka and Kobe - that I'm interested in and plan to attend -- shamelessly subjective.
Although the list isn't meant to be complete, I hope it provides some valuable tips for those interested in art and design in Kansai.

Kindly note that the above dates and times are subject to change.
