Creative gathering "SHOVEL" vol.4 organized by OOO in Osaka (Friday, February 26, 19:00 - 21:00, at the gallery space of kra''f・te Design; Admission: 500 Yen including one drink).

Exhibition "Sequence" at art project room ARTZONE (until March 7; 13:00 - 20:00, on Saturday, Sunday and on national holidays 12:30 - 20:00).

Exhibition "A Love Supreme" by Meiro Koizumi at the Gallery Raku of the Kyoto Zokei University of Art and Design (February 12 - 28; 11:00 - 19:00).

Exhibition "GRAPHIC WEST 2 - Sensory Boxes" at ddd gallery in Osaka (January 19 - March 13; 11:00 - 19:00, on Saturday until 18:00; closed on Sunday, Monday and on national holidays).

Exhibition "Seigo Motono - the Pioneer of Modern Design" at the Museum and Archives of the Kyoto Institute of Technology (Januar 19 - March 11; 10:00 - 17:00; closed on Sunday and on national holidays).

Exhibition "Garden of Painting—Japanese Art of the 00s" at the National Museum of Art, Osaka (16.01. - 04.04.2010; 10:00 - 17:00, Fridays until 19:00, closed on Monday).

Flea Market on the grounds of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine (every month on the 25th).

On the Agenda are events in Kyoto - and also in Osaka and Kobe - that I'm interested in and plan to attend.
Although the list isn't meant to be complete, I hope it provides some valuable tips for those interested in art and design in Kansai.
