Exhibition "GRAPHIC WEST 2 - Sensory Boxes" at ddd gallery in Osaka (January 19 - March 13; 11:00 - 19:00, on Saturday until 18:00; closed on Sunday, Monday and on national holidays).

Exhibition "Seigo Motono - the Pioneer of Modern Design" at the Museum and Archives of the Kyoto Institute of Technology (Januar 19 - March 11; 10:00 - 17:00; closed on Sunday and on national holidays).

Exhibition "AMETSUCHI no hibi" at human + art (January 20 - February 7; 12:00 - 19:00; closed on Monday and Tuesday).

Exhibition "Garden of Painting—Japanese Art of the 00s" at the National Museum of Art, Osaka (16.01. - 04.04.2010; 10:00 - 17:00, Fridays until 19:00, closed on Monday).

Exhibition "hey!2010" at the former Rissei-Elementary School (January 23 - 31; 13:00 - 20:00).

Kyoto Handicraft Biennale at the Museum of Kyoto (January 19 - February 03; 10:00 - 18:00, Fridays until 19:30; closed on Monday).

Graduation show of the Kyoto Seian University of Art and Design at the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art (January 20 - 24, 9:00 - 17:00, on the last day until 16:00). Fashion show of the fashion class on January 23 (at 19:00) and on January 24 (at 15:00 as well as at 18:00) at the Art Complex 1928 building.

Flea market "Kobo-san" on the grounds of Toji Temple (every month on the 21st).

On the Agenda are events in Kyoto - and also in Osaka and Kobe - that I'm interested in and plan to attend.
Although the list isn't meant to be complete, I hope it provides some valuable tips for those interested in art and design in Kansai.
